Acer is a company known primarily for computer hardware and consumer electronics such as smartphones, laptops and other devices. Now, however, he decided to expand his offer and tried to force a completely new field for himself, which is automotive.

A few days ago, during a conference in Munich eCarTech conference, Acer presented the prototype of an electric quad called X Terran. The design was created under the name MPS Energy, a unit Acer set up earlier this year, and it designs energy management systems for smart cars and the use of eco-friendly technologies in the automotive industry.

The machine was built in collaboration with Studio X-Gene’s design studios and so far little is known about its technical details. The manufacturer has only betrayed that the quad is equipped with three battery packs, which together provide 8.7 kWh of energy.
